The highly touted Mets shortstop has 0 home runs and a .171 batting average so far, I personally am disappointed in Lindor offensively, but not defensively. While the star has made some spectacular plays at short this season, itโs time to get it going at the plate as well. A $345M contract can only say what you should be doing this season, and to suggest that Lindor may be a let down and waste is absurd, but, heโs ice cold at the plate and that is indeed a major cause for concern. The Mets can only hope he adjusts his swing and rediscovers what made him a Top 5 in the MLB and possibly a Top 2. Would I call him a top 2? Definitely. I would not call myself a biased fan. Right now? Maybe still a top 10 but he must get it together because playing in New York means you will definitely hear it from these poor longtime suffering fans.

Well said, I just hope Francisco Lindor comes through as the baseball season progresses. That would really be a waste of talent and money as well!
