One could only imagine. The what if’s, the scenarios only play in your mind about what would have been had the Mets inked Trevor Bauer to a deal the previous off-season.

The MLB and the Police are investigating claims of sexual assault, after a woman came forward against Bauer.
However, Bauer and the woman both have text messages differentiating their claims, and he was promptly placed on administrative leave by the Dodgers.
The Dodgers need Bauer. This is a blow to their pitching staff undeniably.
What happens moving forward with Bauer remains to be seen.
Whether or not Bauer’s verdict plays out guilty or innocent, one thing remains certain, given Bauer’s ERA and pitching performance this season, the Mets dodged a bullet letting him fall to the Dodgers.
