This one hurts. Star Outfielder Conforto could shine across town in the Bronx in pinstripes, or find himself packing up and going to the American League.

Whatever is in store for the powerful, breakout-due Right Fielder, we know one thing. It means the Mets are looking to sign Javier Baez to a long term deal.

But our question is, why not sign both?
