The New York Mets found themselves in yet another ugly situation Tuesday morning. General Manager Zack Scott was caught driving drunk.
Scott was reportedly asleep dozing off in his car. Officers caught him, he refused some tests but failed the field sobriety test, and was arrested.
This was following a charity event at Owner Steve Cohenโs home, where there were reportedly 100 guests, team officials and athletes alike.
Should Scott get the boot by Cohen, one name who could replace him should be former Cubs front office and Red Sox GM Theo Epstein. Epstein is highly admirable for his work in the MLB, and highly credible with a solid resume.
It was stated that Rojas took the bus home.
It isnโt clear what the Mets, who released a statement, plan to do. One can only speculate that Scott will be terminated.
