The New York Mets are in last place in the NL East. A move such as coming to terms with a solid pitcher in Trevor Bauer would change the dynamics and shake up the league, filling a potential void and need that the team has needed solidified for years.
Amid Bauer’s legal battle, the evidence remains that Bauer is innocent. The woman had lied on the star pitcher, thus proving Bauer’s innocence. Bauer has a strong and solid array of pitches, and he’s not old. His recent outing with the Long Island Ducks suggests there’s much more in the tank he is capable of using.
The time to sign Bauer is definitely right now.
