NY Mets: Team Has No Heart Whatsoever, Changes Must Be Made

Just when you think life is bad, the Mets play baseball and remind you once again that it could always be a lot worse. The team is 0-4 and playing horrendously.

Many folks remember the saga between Jeff McNeil and the Brewersโ€™ Rhys Hoskins, where Hoskins slid late into second, causing McNeil to grow irate.

However, a loyal reader showed a recent clip shows Jeff McNeil refusing to break up a double play, shown below, suggesting the team clearly was skipping out on fundamentals of base running 101 or simply just doesnโ€™t care.

The team is simply either showing a no care attitude I feel. They know they are looking at a very rough season ahead and sadly this โ€œI donโ€™t careโ€ baseball approach just happens to be what we are seeing.

Changes must be made. There has to be a solution. The fans deserve better.

It could be from signing Trevor Bauer to inking Pete Alonso to a lifetime deal that sparks this season. However it must be done soon.
