NY Mets: 3 Things To Consider About 2024 Success

The 2nd place, 78-65 .545 New York Mets have been on an offensive tear. They have won 9 straight games recently, and they leave fans and baseball fans in general amazed. Here I will get into past patterns, debunking common myths, and 3 things that you should consider about this season.

1. The Mets have a bad history of falling apart in September, but now theyโ€™re heating up.

When the opposite trend usually transpires, evidently youโ€™ll begin to ask yourself, โ€œis this the year that the unthinkable happens?โ€

Debunking a common myth is what Iโ€™m doing here perhaps. What Iโ€™m saying is, for decades, the team would be in 3rd or 4th place by this time in the season. In fact, Iโ€™ve written earlier this year and called that a slow start and late heat up is the key, see this year what I wrote so early, here Click here to see when I told everyone!

I donโ€™t understand how people can be so dense. The obvious sticks out and screams out to them and they fail to realize that bad patterns need to break and a different start and approach is needed to fix the cycle.

2. This recent success does not guarantee a World Series win.

If you put all your eggs in one basket off of a miracle youโ€™re slipping away from reality. There are other hot teams and it would in fact be a miracle.

3. Thereโ€™s a lot of questions surrounding the future of Pete Alonso.

Will Pete Alonso, 29, sign a lifetime deal? This season, heโ€™s been below expectations. He could cool down and really hit a low point, and the dynamics could very well change. For now, everything is awesome.

You have to ask yourself these questions. โ€œWill this last? Is this going to be consistent or permanent? Whoโ€™s all in and what could change?โ€

You wonโ€™t find these takes on the Daily News or Sportscenter or ESPN. My wisdom is beyond amazing and my analysis and insight is logical and proven. You can think what youโ€™d like, but I will always be there to tell you, โ€œI told you so.โ€
