NY Mets: Participating Mets Wowed in Rare NL East Victory

The second place, 56-42 2025 New York Mets just keep pleading their case for fans to believe this season could be a contending one. The National League pulled off a 4-3 win yesterday, with star first baseman Pete Alonso, 30, homering. Hereโ€™s the recap.

Edwin Diaz, Alonso, Francisco Lindor and SP David Peterson all wowed in the rare feat of victory for the league.

Stars such as Francisco Lindor and the other Mets were booed in Atlanta, known to dislike the Mets and their fans.

While the rivalry is strong, the Mets trail the Phillies in the division, while the fast falling Braves are in 4th place, a rare occasion.

The times are changing, and if the Mets are getting booed, their rivals clearly feel threatened for once.

To sum this up, the Mets future appears bright, while Atlanta plays a game of catch up, the stage is set. The competition remains Philadelphia, and anything can happen in this game called baseball.
